Autumn at Anglesey Abbey - Oct 2005

Anglesey Abbey is a National Trust property just north of Cambridge. It has wonderful gardens, both formal and informal with superb lawns and avenues. Although many of the flowers have faded and the grass is a little muddy, the autumn colours of the trees are beautiful at this time of year.

The gardens surrounding the temple.

The house itself.

The Dahlias were very good this year, but the lawn got so muddy that it had to be roped off.
